Matcom Industrial Installations
Matcom Industrial Installations is a full service contractor that specializes in the installations, relocation and warehousing of heavy industrial machinery. Over the years, Matcom has expanded its services to better help the needs of our clients. A new service to join our others like fabrication and maintenance is Pre Start Health and Safety Review (PSR). PSRs are intended to ensure worker protection as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Section 7). It is the responsibility of the employer to meet these requirements/guidelines and provide the worker with a safe environment.

Nordco Inc.
Nordco’s Canadian operations assembles Railway Maintenance of Way Equipment for North America Class I and Class II railways. Nordco produces 4 main products ranging from a Regulator weighing 56,000 lbs to a Curve Gang Spiker weighing 11,000 lbs. The Oshawa facility has been on their Lean journey for the past 4 years; achieving great success where they currently flow all their machines down one mixed model assembly line. They have implemented many processes to get the parts to the assemblers and many KANBAN systems to re-order or re-kit parts. Nordco’s biggest success has come from their Culture and Teamwork - it is the people that make the difference from a good company to great company. The Oshawa facility will be producing 81 machines compared to 32 in 2003 when they first began their Lean journey.

Messier-Dowty Inc. is the world leader in the design, development, manufacture and support of integrated aircraft landing gear systems. The Toronto operation is housed in a 19,000 m2 facility. Messier-Dowty maintains an extensive computer-aided design and manufacturing engineering capability with more than a decade of expertise in the development of fully integrated landing gear systems.
