MicroPilot
MicroPilot is the world leader of small autopilots for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and micro aerial vehicles (MAV). MicroPilot designs and manufactures autopilots to customers worldwide, including academic, military, and private research institutions, and to OEM UAV manufacturers and end users. Bourgault Industries Ltd.
Bourgault Industries is an innovative agricultural implement manufacturer based in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan. In 1973, Frank Bourgault, an area farmer and skilled mechanic, established Bourgault to design and market a durable, high-quality cultivator able to break the notoriously stony soils of the St. Brieux region. Today, Bourgault has become the world leader in Air Seeding Technologies and distributes its products through Canada, US, Australia and Eastern Europe.  Bourgault started implementing Lean in 2004 and had some tremendous initial success however sustaining the improvements has been a challenge.  By implementing TWI, a better environment is created to ensure the successes of lean are cemented in place and additional improvements can occur.

Learning Session:  Training Within Industry
This Learning Session will focus on the three Training Within Industry programs (Job Relations, Job Instruction and Job Methods), a TWI needs assessment and planning process. This Learning Session will also demonstrate Bourgault's experience with TWI implementation.
